Where are you based?

We are in Bushey, Hertfordshire.

Can I meet the puppies?

Yes, we are happy to arrange visit’s to meet and interact with the puppies.

Are your puppies Kennel club registered?

Yes! All our dogs are KC registered.

Do you sell other kinds of dachshund puppies?

We have English Creams, Shaded Creams and Creams all of which are longhaired.

Will I get KC papers with my puppy?

You will get all paperwork to which will enable you to register your pup in your name, there will be breeding restrictions put on all puppies as they are for families only.

Do you offer a health guarantee?

Yes! We offer all new puppies a 3 month health guarantee against any life-threatening genetic defects.

At what age can I take a puppy home?

Your puppy can go home at 8 weeks.

Why do some puppies have the tear stains on their eyes?

The short answer is it’s genetic but does eventually go away on it’s own. From our experience over 97% of puppies eventually outgrow them, usually once they’re 4-5 months old. Could be teething related, and we’ve also heard they’re caused by immature tear ducts. About 50% of our pale cream puppies have tears at some point starting at around 4-6 weeks old.

I want to get a puppy but can’t decide between a boy or girl. What are the main differences?

In general, the biggest differences in this type of dachshund are energy level, training and size. Girls can be easier to potty train and tend to be more energetic. Boys are usually more laid back and calmer. If there is a barker, it tends to be a girl. Boys tend to be larger, around 10-12 lbs on average. Girls usually mature under 11 lbs. Both boys and girls are amazingly affectionate and loving!

How much is a puppy deposit?

The deposit is 25% of the cost of your puppy, with the balance due in full at pickup. We cannot hold a puppy without a deposit, no exceptions. Please be aware the deposit is non-refundable.

How can I place a deposit on an upcoming litter?

We accept online bank transfer or cash when you have chosen your little one.

At what age do I get to take my puppy home?

Puppies go home at 8 weeks. Puppies cannot go home earlier than 8 weeks.

I just sent you a message via email or text. When can I expect to hear back?

We prefer phone appointments either call or video in the first instance and then of course you are more than welcome to come and visit your little puppy after this.
